I create my paintings with my heart wide open!To me the world is a place of beauty, wonder and possibility. My art reflects a sense of serenity and innate goodness. The subjects I choose all capture the quiet magic of solitary moments, and the secure knowledge of being perfect just the way they are. My art evokes a sense of calm and simple joy. Each piece is a reminder to see the world with fresh eyes- to believe, enjoy and exist freely and to find delight in the small things.

Every wall deserves art!

Jody has been making art since she could hold a crayon and use scissors. She has a Bachelors Degree in Graphic Design. But her true passion has always been painting. She has studied with The Virtual Art Academy and most recently she has completed the rigorous Milan Art Institute Mastery Program. She now has the full spectrum of skills and the passion to take her wherever she wants to go.

Jody’s paintings capture beauty, simplicity and harmony. Through the use of collage, stylized mark making, bold colors, and simple compositions she puts all of the focus on her subject and reveals them in all their innate beauty. “Painting allows me the freedom to create the world as I see and feel it. It gives me a channel to manifest what’s in my heart”.

Jody creates her art in the Palm Springs CA area. She’s influenced by Art Nouveau and mid-century modern aesthetics, as well as the birds, palm trees and sunsets of the desert. In the coming years she hopes to add beauty to as many walls as she possibly can.
